As part of APIEA study abroad programs, APIEA is dedicated to partnering with various educational institutions, organizations, companies, and industrial experts, to provide a high-quality learning experiences that contribute to students’ growth and achievement.
Previous partners include universities across the Asia-Pacific (i.e. Kyoto University, Keio University, United International College, Beijing Normal University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Chiang Mai University, Thammasat University, Sungkyunkwan University, Korea University, National University of Singapore, etc.); NGOs (i.e. Roots & Shoots, BEAM, ToyBank India, Aging Nepal, Habitat); local companies as well as multi-national companies on the Fortune 500 list (for example, GM, Volkswagen, Hyundai, JD.COM, Microsoft, Abbot, Samsung, Daimler, BMW, Wells Fargo, Caterpillar, Maersk, Nike, Coca-Cola, 3M, MDLZ, Xiaomi, etc.)
APIEA works with numerous companies and organization partners, to give students a closer look at the realities of industry in the Asia Pacific, including General Business, Supply Chain, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Smart Systems, Sustainability, Psychology, Education, Architecture, Healthcare, Law, Music, Food and Culinary Arts, etc.
Partnering with local universities and academic institutions, APIEA provides students an opportunity to experience a lecture in a local setting in the Asia Pacific. Local students are also invited to introduce the campus and share information about their daily life during the campus tour and lunch exchange.
APIEA invites industrial experts, ex-pats, and alumni to join the group and share their experiences and ideas during panel discussions. Students will have the chance to raise questions and ask for advice on the latest industry trends and career advice.
Once students are in the region, the best way to develop personal connections is through an in-person alumni networking session. APIEA works with your university to invite regional alumni to meet visiting students and share their personal experiences and advice.
Engaging students in a service-learning project offers an exclusive experience and perspective to understand the locals, especially those ‘invisible’ minorities. APIEA works with various non-government organizations in the Asia Pacific to support community services including a nursery for the disabled or the elderly, an animal camp, a migrant children’s school, environment events, education camps for minorities, etc.
Based on the duration and the theme of the program, your service-learning project can last from a half-day to several weeks.
APIEA works with corporate partners to provide practical learning opportunities for students to help build academic profiles and pursue career goals.
Customized internship placements are currently offered by The APIEA for varying lengths of five to fifteen weeks, during the Spring/Fall semester or the Summer/Winter Holiday.
Consulting Projects & Case Studies
APIEA actively works with academic partners to look for student groups who are capable of consulting and providing solutions to industrial problems and cases for corporations.
A case study will last one day to a few days while a consulting project can take up to one semester for a group project.
Working with dedicated individuals who are passionate about education and enthusiastic about passing the flame to the younger generation, APIEA offers a mentorship program in the Asia Pacific.
A mentorship can be arranged monthly during your program.
